Flu Vaccination Clinics 2011
Our 'Flu Vaccination Clinics will begin shortly. They will be held in the surgery on the following dates and times:
Wednesday 5th October 2.30pm - 6.00pm
Saturday 22nd October 9.00am - 12.00pm
Thursday 27th October 2.30pm - 6.00pm
Wednesday 9th November 2.30pm - 6.00pm
The clinics are open access so there is no need to make an appointment, patients will be seen on a first come first served basis. Flu vaccinations are available to anyone aged 65 or over (or who will be 65 before 31st March 2012) and also to anyone with certain medical conditions including COPD, Heart Disease, Diabetes, certain types of Asthma and others. If you are unsure, please contact reception to check.
Online Access
We are now able to offer patients the opportunity to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online. If you would like to take advantage of this, you will need to pick up an authorisation letter from reception with your logon details, and we will also give you full details of how to use the service.
Mobile Phones
We now send appointment reminders and details of vaccination clinics via text messages. This means we need to ensure that we always have an up to date mobile number for you. Please let us have your number so that we can check that it is correct on our database, and let us know whenever you change it. You can let us know via e-mail on a.albertroad@nhs.net or pop into the surgery. Please don't phone us with it though as we need to try and keep the phone lines as free as possible for those wanting to book appointments.
